School Age Child Care Programs (SACC)
The Edison Branch Y provides a fun and safe learning environment before and after school. We offer an extensive array of services to parents to ensure child care needs are fully met, including transportation to and from school.
 | MORNING CARE 7am-beginning of school: Children are grouped together to do calm, constructive activities, eat breakfast or finish last minute homework at the Y before boarding a bus to school. |
 | AFTER SCHOOL CARE after school-7pm: Children are picked up from school and transported back to the Y where they receive a healthy snack, homework help and a variety |
| of sports and enrichment activities scheduled each afternoon. Included is the CATCH physical education and nutrition program. |
 | KINDERGARTEN EXTENDED DAY (KEDs) morning or afternoon session: Complimenting Edison's half-day Kindergarten, children spend the other half of their day at the Y in an academic program that works in tandem with the Edison BOE curriculum. |
Children are transported to and/or from their school on Y school busses with aides, and may add morning care, aftercare or holiday care to their monthly KEDs tuition. Enrichments, grade-level lessons and learning centers are incorporated into the curriculum. A healthy lunch program is available to those interested. |
 | HOLIDAY CARE 7am-7pm if needed: Available when Edison schools are closed for 'scheduled' days off, field trips and/or a special schedules are planned. A Holiday Care Information Form must be filled out to register, if your child is not currently enrolled in our SACC program. |

REGISTRATION |
 | ONLINE Registration for SACC is now available for the 2012-2013 school year. Registration forms may be downloaded and submitted in person at the Edison Branch YMCA as well. |
 | All participants must have a current Edison Branch Y membership. A 3% discount will be applied to SACCers with Family memberships. email Laura Margeotes with questions. |
