Oakcrest Pool Construction is underway, and moving along at a reasonable pace thanks to a mild winter and a determined construction crew!

The Oakcrest Summer Camp and Family Swim Club is located at 970 Inman Avenue in North Edison.   Oakcrest is a seasonal program site operated by the Edison Branch YMCA.

POOL MEMBERSHIP:

The Edison Branch YMCA will not be processing pool memberships until we have a better understanding of when or if the pool will be completed in time to open to the public this summer.  We expect to have a better sense of a construction completion by the end of March.

SUMMER CAMP:

The camp site will be unaffected by construction in terms of the fields, bathrooms, snack bar, tennis courts/basketball courts and kiddie pool.

The Woodside Pool (located in North Edison) has been gracious enough to offer access to our summer camp every day if our own pool is still in the final stages of construction.  Campers will be bussed to Woodside and will receive YMCA swim lessons and free swim Monday and Friday afternoons, as well as Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, revolving around their trip schedule. They will be bussed back to Oakcrest for a 4pm dismissal or after care.

Once construction is complete, our daily schedule will resume but our OPTIONAL TRIP SCHEDULE and Tuesdays at the Beach will remain the same.

Most demo is complete and walls are framed!	The new Zero-Degree entry is taking shape!	Our fabulous new slide will be a hit with campers and members!

Everything depends on the weather at this point, and the continuation of a mild winter. Each day we have sun and moderate temperatures, is a day closer to opening! Stay tuned for more detailed info.
