2016 YMCA Long Course National Championships UPDATES

The YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge & South Amboy would like to congratulate rising Sophmore Sarah Hardy on placing YMCA National Champion in the 200IM, 2nd in the 400IM and 6thin 200 Backstroke.

We are also proud to have Sean Carlucci, 16, and Andrew Galarza, 17, competing in this year's YMCA National Long Course Championship in Indianapolis, both having personal best times and qualifying for next year's competition.

Metuchen Manta Rays

The Metuchen-Edison YMCA’s competitive swim program, the Manta Rays, produces far more than outstanding swimmers; it develops character, discipline and camaraderie among the 200 young people on the team. 

The team competes in the National YMCA Swimming and Diving and the United States Swimming organizations. Over the years, the team has produced All American swimmers, national champions, and is especially proud of the alumni coaching staff led by Jim Petrozziello.

MEY Stroke and Turn Clinic 2017
April 10-June 2
This 8 week clinic, designed for children who swim competitively is perfect off season program for all age group swimmers. The program is offered by MEY coaches who will focus on proper stroke mechanics and form.
Tryouts will be held March 28th, 29th, 30th from 6:00-8:00pm at the Metuchen Y.
