Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher
The Lead Teacher, under the direction and coaching of the Center Director will be responsible for the class of children to which they have been assigned. Responsibilities include the planning and implementation of the curriculum, the health and safety of the children, communication with the parents and supervision of support staff. The Lead will use the philosophy of the YMCA mission, the accreditation guidelines and four core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility to develop and implement a program of the highest quality where every child has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. CDA or some college education required, Early Childhood Education degree a plus! Familiarity with Creative Curriculum preferred. Must be dependable and a positive role model for Assistant Teachers as well as for children ranging from 6 weeks through 3 years.

Status and Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday 35-40 hours per week
