Camp SAY at the South Amboy YMCA

Hi, I’m Tony Brewster! I’ve been part of the South Amboy YMCA for seven years, and what began as a job quickly became a true passion. I earned my four-year degree in Arkansas before moving to New Jersey to pursue professional basketball, but it was at the Y that I discovered how meaningful it is to mentor, teach, and coach youth. Growing up at the YMCA myself, I know how powerful this environment can be in shaping confidence, skills, and friendships. Today, my focus is helping kids feel supported, inspired, and proud of who they are—because knowing that my voice matters to them gives purpose to everything I do. 

Tony's Favorite Camp Memory: I love seeing new and returning faces each summer! I've been lucky to create such great connections with our campers and their families, and it's great to see that play out each year.
