$50- you save a life with a 4 week swim lesson for a young child
$75 - you offer an outlet for a pre-teen dealing with anxiety and stress through our karate classes
$150 – you foster team building and interaction for a child during an 8-week basketball clinic
$250 – you give the enjoyment of music, art, story and playtime to a toddler in our Ready, Set, Learn program
$500 - you provide five seniors with a chance to connect and increase mobility through Aqua Arthritis
$1,000 - you ensure access and opportunity to a family in need by providing a one-year YMCA Family Membership

A gift to the Y in your estate plans provides for future needs. Any amount makes a large impact. Many friends of the Y choose to help extend their values and the Y’s influence beyond their own lifetimes by gifting some of the assets they have accumulated to the Y’s permanent endowment fund. Donors can direct their gifts to support the overall work of that Y or designate them to support an area of major focus that will remain integral to the Y and the community it serves for future generations. A healthy Y capable of making a significant impact in the community is a gift we have received from prior generations. It is a gift we should pass along, in a stronger position, to future generations.
Double your donation by checking with your employer who may match your donation. The YMCA of MEWSA received more than $20,000 last year in Matching Gift Funds.
If your employer participates with the United Way, you can designate your donation for a Y branch.
