Edison YMCA: A partner of the Community Campus

edison-branch-photoOur Edison Y is part of a joint collaboration with the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Middlesex County, known as the Community Campus. Since opening in December 2002, the “Campus” became the first-ever shared facility between a YMCA and a JCC. Together, we are a charitable membership organization helping the people of our community realize their full potential.

 Cindy O'NeillGreetings:

My name is Cindy O’Neill and I am the Director of Operations at the Edison Branch YMCA.  I have a long history with the YMCA—I joined the Y team in 2008 as the Membership and Marketing Director and was promoted to my current role in September 2014.  Since then, I have had the opportunity of introducing many exciting new programs for our members, meeting wonderful families and furthering the mission of the Y through our many health and wellness programs.  Our Y has something for everyone.  We offer Early Education and School Age Child Care enrichment programs for children, and in the summer your children can enjoy their time building strong bodies and minds at Oak Tree Camp and Oakcrest Camp.

Members can connect with other members through groups, programs of interest and community work—enabling them to build meaningful and deep relationships.  We view each member’s success as our own success and we take a deep sense of pride in that.  Many members tell us that they are members of the Y because they like being a part of something bigger—they feel a spirit of community and a sense of caring when they enter our doors.

The Edison YMCA brings together people of all ages, backgrounds and shared values to set about strengthening their minds, their bodies and their spirits of community.  Please accept my personal invitation to come visit our location and see how it can change your life for the better.
